Assessment and Evaluation Method
After covering protein synthesis in its entirety you can test your students with a simple quiz in which they will have to be able to convert between the various genetic codes. The quiz below could be used as an evaluation method that could be used to test your students knowledge and understanding of the content. This could be marked out of 20 as students would receive a mark for every blank box they fill in correctly.

A form of assessment you can use with your students is a simple Kahoot Quiz. This is an online game that allows you to test your students knowledge through multiple choice questions. This form of assessment provides you with immediate feedback as to the concepts your students are still struggling with and allows you to address any errors the students may be making right away. This form of assessment is completely anonymous for your students if they choose to use nicknames within the game but allows you to get instant feedback to determine if you class is understanding the concepts. An example of a short 5 question quiz can be viewed at https://play.kahoot.it/#/k/72e89ce9-1d9f-4866-8c99-2e199c06e464 to give you an idea of the types of questions you may want to ask. However, you can also create your own quiz by creating an account and logging in at https://getkahoot.com/
